Summary0000120: Recursive watches (for monitoring subtrees)
DescriptionIt's not a bad idea to implement watches for monitoring whole subtrees. Since inotify doesn't support this feature it must be implemented on the application layer.

There IS chance of course. But I can't currently implement it. A few people have offerred me to contribute with some patches. If they do so the recursive incron would be available soon. But I can't guarantee any exact term.

Hi,
I'm also extremely interested in this feature. Was there any progress?
I guess, the inotifytools_watch_recursively() function could be used in the implementation.
What about those patches? Are they available?
Thanks!

I will check whether it is possible and eventually use it in the implementation.
